The project involved the shaping of material to form a mound which was cut, formed and
then turfed to produce a spiral viewing mound one of three in the country. As part of the
project there was the shaping of all the internal land to the park where spiralling paths cut through. The park was fenced off with bespoke metal railings which were connected at the
four corners by a natural stone wall which was capped with ashlar stone. To complete the
park the play furniture was installed and this was followed by the safety play surfacing
making it child friendly.
