Expanding our Fleet to keep up with demand.
Our resources have been increasing rapidly over the past few weeks due to a significant investment of £1.5m towards our Plant machinery. In order to keep up with demand, we now have over 50 new vehicles ranging from excavators to dumpers. We are very excited to be out on site and putting them to use already!
Project completion on The Sir Henry Bragg Building at the University of Leeds.
A £65m project is the new home for the schools of Computing and Physics & Astronomy. We worked alongside BAM Construct UK throughout, and designed by Manchester architect ADP, the project consists of a new 6-storey building, a full height connecting atrium and refurbishment of the Grade II listed Old Mining Building with an additional roof top extension. A fantastic achievement for everyone involved.
We’re looking forward to working on a large distribution facility worth £125m working alongside Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd. to begin this month.
The project concerns a 850,000 sq. ft warehouse built in South Elmsall with access from the A638 Doncaster Road. Purpose built to meet the needs of its growing online operation, the project will also include the addition of a new two-level bridge that will link buildings to the north, as well as improving highway access.

1x 6t cabbed JCB Dumper – Stage 5 Engine
1x 9t cabbed JCB Dumper – Stage 5 Engine
1x DAF XF 530 Double Drive – Euro 6 Engine featuring all round cameras to enhance vehicle and pedestrian safety.
1x JCB 140X Excavator with a Tier 4 Final engine.
Step change has also begun with our car fleet which is now using 8 plugin hybrids.
Every year we support Pulse 1’s Cash for Kids Mission at Christmas and this year we were able to donate £600 to this worthwhile cause…
The charity helps local children who are at risk of waking up to nothing on Christmas morning. Working across West Yorkshire, they make such a difference to these youngsters and we are pleased to be able to do our bit to part to support their brilliant efforts.

Three members of our workforce received a national award from Vinci Construction after displaying outstanding bravery.
Michael Fisher, along with Matthew and Andrew Baldock, rescued a member of the public who had fallen into the River Ouse near to Vinci’s Guildhall site in York. The award was originally ranked at regional level, but due to the nature of the incident it was quickly promoted to national level, with our Moortown heroes receiving a £1,000 thank you. What an amazing team we have!
